By using this website, you agree to be bound by its POLICIES AND PROCEDURES, and all disclaimers, terms and conditions that appear elsewhere on the site. Sarasota Avionics International ("SAI") reserves the right to make changes to its Policies and Procedures at any time. Tampering with the site, misrepresenting the identity of a user, using buying agents or conducting fraudulent activities on the site are prohibited.

WARRANTY

Warranty commences on date of shipment.  All new equipment is warrantied by the equipment manufacturer.  Reconditioned equipment carries a 6-month warranty from SAI.  Used equipment must be sent to a Sarasota Avionics International service facility within 180 days from date pf shipment for all warrantied evaluation and repair.  All warranty work to be performed by SAI or their approved affiliate. eBay sales are not subject to the Sarasota Avionics warranty policy.

EBAY SALES

Because of the extra costs associated with selling items on eBay, our normal warranty and return policies do not apply to items purchased from our eBay store or auctions. Please refer to the auction listing for warranty/return details for the specific item.

INTERNATIONAL SALES

Due to the increased number of fraudulent international transactions, SAI reserves the right to delay or cancel any order for any reason. In order to maintain our controls to detect internet fraud, we do not publish our security procedures. All new international customers that choose to pay by credit card will be contacted for further verification of their identity. We also offer the option to pay by wire transfer. If you wish to avoid verification delays, please contact one of our salesmen and they will send you our bank transfer instructions.

PLEASE NOTE: Any orders that will be shipped to a freight-forwarder will require payment by wire transfer.

INSTALLATION

Certain items on this website may only be shipped if they are for use in experimental aircraft. For certified aircraft, we must install the equipment or ship them to another certified dealer for installation.  A sales representative will contact you to confirm your information. Please be sure to leave a contact number where we can reach you during normal business hours, or feel free to contact us at 1-866-539-4078 or by email at sales@sarasotaavionics.com. Payments for installations will require 20% down at time of order placement. Equipment to be paid in full by check or wire transfer when work begins. Final payment by certified funds due when work is completed. Any other method of payment must be approved in advance of delivery.

PRICE & AVIALABILITY

Prices subject to change without notice. Availability of certain products may occasionally differ from the advertised estimate. Should you purchase a product that happens to be on backorder, we will contact you to let you know the updated estimate for delivery, and allow you the option to cancel your order.

ERRORS AND OMMISSIONS

Errors will be corrected where discovered, and SAI reserves the right to revoke any stated offer and to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions including after an order has been submitted and whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Sarasota Avionics will issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge. Individual bank policies will dictate when this amount is credited to your account. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may return it in accordance with our Return Policy.

RESTOCKING FEE

A restocking fee of 15% will be charged for all stock item returns that comply with our Return Policy. This fee may be waived if the return credit is applied toward the purchase of equipment of equal or greater value.

SALES TAX

SHIPPING

SAI uses FedEx and UPS for most shipments. US Postal Service may be made available upon request. Because of the inability to accurately estimate the cost to ship each individual package until after an order is placed, SAI has calculated an average standard shipping cost for most orders.

These costs are subject to change should the actual cost be substantially different than the estimate. Estimated costs do not apply to shipments to Hawaii and Alaska. International shipping costs are to be calculated on an individual basis when the order has been processed. International customers are responsible for all non-shipping charges, including all taxes and duties. All packages are insured by Sarasota Avionics International.
